### My 3D software already renders the pool. Why do I need another tool.

A still and a moving one solve different problems. Water is the hardest thing to render convincingly, get the caustics, refraction, or reflections even slightly wrong and the whole image collapses no matter how good the shell looks. A film shows the water moving the way it actually will, which a frozen render can't do at any price.

## Pool builder questions

### Does this replace Pool Studio or Vip3D, or run alongside it?

Alongside it. You still design and price the pool in your own software. We turn the render you already made into a video, we don't design anything.

### What if my design software only gives me a PDF, not a render?

Upload the PDF plan. We can work from a 2D plan on its own, though a rendered still gets you a more accurate film. See [what we accept](https://rendersplash.com/works-with).

### Will the pebble finish or waterline tile match what I actually priced?

We build the shot from what's in your file. If the coping or tile color in the video is wrong, tell us and we recut it, that's part of a draft.

### Can I show the video before the pool is permitted?

Yes. The footer disclosure makes clear it shows design intent, not a finished structure, so there's nothing to walk back if a detail changes during permitting.

### How long does a pool video take?

About four minutes once you've uploaded the render and any yard photos. Drafts render faster than the final cut.

### Do I need a video for every pool I quote, or just the ones that stall?

Most builders start on the free plan, three drafts and one finished video a month, using it on whichever job is closest to a decision, then upgrade once it's part of the sales process.
