# Fixing something you don't like

There's no timeline editor. Here's the fast way to fix a video.

## There is no timeline to edit

RenderSplash does not have a tool for trimming, retouching, or nudging a finished clip. If something in the video is not right, the fix is to make a new one, not to edit the one you have. That sounds like more work than it is, because a correction is usually a draft, which costs half what a finished video does.

## The fastest fix: change the inputs and draft again

Most problems trace back to what went into the video. Open the project, go back to the composer, and adjust one thing at a time:

1. **Wrong angle or missing feature.** Remove or add renders in the ingredients row, then make another **Draft**.
2. **Wrong time of day or mood.** Change the **Lighting** pill (As rendered, Midday, Golden hour, Dusk, Night) and draft again.
3. **Something worth calling out explicitly.** Add a line to **Anything to highlight?**, describing the detail plainly, and draft again.

Because a draft costs half what a finished video does, you can try an adjustment or two before spending the credits on the version you will actually show.

## If a video failed outright

A failed tile shows the reason in one sentence and a **Try again** button underneath it. Press it to attempt the same request again at no extra cost, a failed video is never charged.

## If you just want a sharper copy

If the video itself is right and only the resolution is not, you do not need to start over. Open it and use **Make it sharper** to remake the same clip at a higher quality, HD up to Full HD or 4K, for the credit cost of that quality. This changes resolution only, not the content of the shots.

## When to delete and start clean

If a video is not one you will ever use, open it and press **Delete**. This does not refund anything already charged, but it clears your project grid so you are only looking at the versions worth keeping.
