# What you get on the free plan

Drafts, one finished video a month, and what needs an upgrade.

## What Free includes

The Free plan costs $0 and never asks for a card. Every month you get:

- **3 draft videos.** Draft quality is 360p and carries a watermark, meant for checking an angle before you commit to a finished one.
- **1 finished video at 720p.** No watermark. This is the version you can actually show a homeowner.
- **Every upload type RenderSplash accepts**: renders, a flythrough, a 2D plan. Nothing is held back from paying plans.
- **Share links**, so a customer can watch a finished video without an account, the same as on Starter or Pro.

Uploads and finished videos are kept for 12 months on every plan, Free included, and you can delete anything sooner yourself.

## What Free does not include

Free tops out at **720p**. Full HD and 4K need a paid plan, Starter or Pro. If you try to raise Quality past HD on Free, RenderSplash tells you what to upgrade to rather than letting the video fail.

Free does not include **top-up credits**. Once your three drafts and one finished video for the month are used, you wait for next month's reset or move to Starter or Pro.

Free does not include your **company name on the video**. That is a Pro feature, covered in [Putting your company name on the video](https://rendersplash.com/help/adding-your-branding).

Free is also a single login: it includes one seat and you cannot add more. It is meant for one person to try RenderSplash on a real job. Starter and Pro both allow extra seats for a team, covered in [Billing, upgrades and cancellation](https://rendersplash.com/help/billing-and-plans).

## Why this is enough to test with

Three drafts and one finished 720p video is enough to run one real job through RenderSplash end to end: try a couple of angles as drafts, pick the one that lands, and make the finished version you actually sit down with a customer to watch. If that closes a job, the plan pays for itself many times over compared to what a render studio would charge for the same thing.

## Moving up

Your monthly count is shown in the credits pill at the top of the workspace, and in full on **Billing**. When you are ready for more, click **Subscribe** on **Billing**, or **Upgrade** from the plan picker, and choose Starter or Pro.
