# From render to video, shot by shot.

No animation, no text prompt. We take the renders you already made and turn each one into a shot in a finished video.

## What happens after you upload

Four stages, most of them measured in seconds.

1. **We plan the shots.** We look at your renders, your flythrough and your plan, and decide which renders become shots and in what order.
2. **We draw each shot as a photograph.** Every shot keeps your camera angle and your design exactly as drawn. What changes is the surface: water, light and material read as real, not rendered.
3. **We film the shots as one clip.** The finished pictures are cut together in order, with the look you picked (as rendered, midday, golden hour, dusk or night) applied across all of them.
4. **You get a link.** Most videos are ready in about 2 to 4 minutes. You can close the tab and come back.

## Why the camera never moves on its own

A prompt-based tool invents a camera angle along with the backyard, because it has nothing else to go on. We start from a render you already framed on purpose, so we keep that exact angle. Nothing pans, tilts or zooms to somewhere you didn't draw.

That is also why more angles help. One render gives you one shot. Five renders from five angles give the finished video five shots to cut between.

## What we add, and what we leave alone

The geometry, the layout and every object in your render stay exactly where you put them. What we change is the surface: water gets motion and reflection, materials pick up real light, and the lens reads like a camera's, not a render engine's.

We do not redesign the pool, move a wall, or add plants and furniture you did not draw. If it is not in your render or your plan, it does not appear in the video.

## Where the flythrough and the plan fit in

A flythrough MP4 is optional. When you add one, we read frames from it in playing order to learn how your camera already moves through the design, so the finished cut matches your own walkthrough rather than a generic one.

A 2D plan (PNG, PDF or DXF) is also optional. It gives room shapes and sightlines that a single still can hide, which helps on multi-shot videos most.

## What the video is, and isn't

Videos are AI-generated visualisations of a design. They show design intent and are not a guarantee of the finished build, its materials or its dimensions.

## Questions about the process

### Do I get to choose the camera angles?

The angles come from the renders you upload. Upload the angles you want in the finished video; we don't invent new ones.

### What if a shot doesn't come out right?

Run another draft with a different render or a different look before you spend the credits on the finished video. See [fixing a video](https://rendersplash.com/help/editing-a-video).

### Does it use my flythrough video if I upload one?

Yes, as a reference for how the camera moves. The renders are still what each shot is drawn from.

### Which resolution should I choose?

720p is what most builders show at the kitchen table. 1080p and 4K cost more credits and suit a bigger screen or a trade-show loop. See [choosing a resolution](https://rendersplash.com/help/choosing-a-resolution).

### How many shots can one video have?

Up to a handful, since a short video only holds so many cuts before it feels rushed. Upload your best angles and we pick from those.

### Does the video guarantee the finished build will match it exactly?

No. It shows design intent from your own renders. Materials, color and dimensions in the finished project can still vary from any visualisation. See our [AI disclosure](https://rendersplash.com/legal/ai-disclosure).
